“ We booked for a large group, nearly 30 people and the pre dinner communications were great. Easy booking, great event on the night, superb food delivered by a great team. Every dish was delicious and left everyone very happy. A 3 course meal was very reasonably priced and somewhere we'd definitely book again. ”

“ Delicious Sunday lunch last week with the in laws. We didn’t like the table we were initially sat at (there was a low wall/shelf that we thought could be risky) so we asked to move and we were sat at a very light, open table near the bar which was preferred. I had the salt and pepper squid for starter, and it was light and tasty, not greasy at all. The pork belly bits were not a favorite of the group, but Cauliflower bang bang was a nice alternative. We all chose the Steak and ale pie for main - winner!! This is the best pie I’ve had in a long while. Not a brakes special, this was a thick slice of a pie, and it was top to bottom full of steak To finish the meal, Affogato was on the menu which I hadn’t tried before, but love coffee, so went for it. I wasn’t disappointed. I don’t usually like ice cream but it was different and I enjoyed it. The brownie looked scrumptious - I had a bit of food envy! Walt was our server: he was really friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. Most importantly, he put up with our banter and engaged with us - harder to find that you think! Will certainly return for Sunday lunch again ”

My wife and I indulged in the Sunday roasts - I savored the roast pork with crispy crackling while she enjoyed a tender roast turkey. The roasts were accompanied by a selection of fresh vegetables, homemade stuffing, gigantic Yorkshire puddings, and a bowl of rich, flavorful gravy. The kids weren’t left behind; they happily tucked into their pizzas from a kid-friendly menu. “ What a wonderful Sunday lunch experience! The staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Every single member of staff was helpful, smiley and just absolutely lovely. They were also really attentive and fun with my 8 year old daughter despite being busy with some big parties. Due to one of our party having a dairy allergy, they double checked with the chef what she could safely eat. This was greatly appreciated. The food was reasonably priced and delicious.
